Dawe Brothers Funeral Directors was established in the mid 1950s when Reginald Dawe, who ran a carpentry and building business, was approached by a nursing home to provide a coffin; Mr. Dawe then went on to arrange the entire funeral.

The funeral directing business was run from Mr. Dawe's cottage, expanding to a house and workshops; and now the arrangement offices and chapel that we have today, are all on the original site.

The business is currently managed by Roger Oliver who began working with Mr. Dawe in 1978.

At Dawe Brothers we aim to provide a service based on our long established experience and traditional family values whilst understanding the changing wishes of today's community.

Dawe Brothers Funeral Directors is a member of the National Association of Funeral Directors.
